WHY I BECAME A COUNTY COUNCILLOR

"As a District Councillor for my home town for 4 years prior to the opportunity to stand for the County seat, I found that you can make a difference locally. I felt that with my experience of Life, work and previous knowledge of how the system works I felt confident to take on the role and work for the community."

PROUDEST POLITICAL ACHIEVEMENT

"To have led the Council on the start of the Restorative Justice journey to making Norfolk a Restorative County. It took a long process of working with staff and convincing NCC Cabinet that the benefits would be great for us all, and in particular the young people. The Cabinet has further endorsed my proposal through the inclusion of £150,000 in the 2009 budget as an ongoing figure for the promotion of Restorative Justice."
